Service sequence

Aircond installation, cleaning and repair for homes and commercial spaces. The right service begins with the unit, the room and a clear understanding of the problem.

Describe the unit

Provide the type, number of units and the problem you have noticed. Mention when it occurs and any recent service or changes to the installation.

List the unit models where available and their locations. Mention outdoor access restrictions, building approval requirements or difficult working areas so the visit can be discussed realistically.

Review the site

Access, unit location and safe working conditions affect the service. Installation or complex repair may need an assessment before a quote can be finalised.

Distinguish a planned maintenance task from a fault investigation. Ask what the proposed inspection or cleaning covers and how additional work would be discussed if a problem is found.

Confirm the scope

The proposed tasks, materials, parts and cost are agreed before work. Additional findings are discussed before extending the scope.

Confirm the units included, access arrangements and any agreed protection for the surrounding area. If the scope changes on site, review the revised work before treating it as authorised.

Check and explain

Review the serviced function and receive guidance relevant to the work performed. Future maintenance depends on actual use and the manufacturer guidance.

Review the work against the agreed task and ask about appropriate operation afterwards. Any further investigation or repeat visit should have its own clear purpose instead of an assumed continuing service.

What helps us prepare?

Note whether cooling changes over time, water appears at a particular location or noise occurs only during startup. The pattern helps explain the request, but it does not replace an assessment of the equipment.

For an installation, discuss room use and the proposed location before choosing equipment. Capacity, placement, drainage and electrical requirements need to be considered together. Avoid treating a single room-size estimate as a complete specification.
